Steve founded Black Hawk Real Estate in 1992, diversified to Black Hawk Property Management in 1995 and added Black Hawk Building Group in 2000. He is a seasoned twenty-five year licensed professional in all facets of real estate and development, including residential and commercial brokerage and sales, leasing, property management, construction as a licensed general contractor and green home builder (EarthCraft House certified).   Steve takes great pride in Black Hawk Building Group's New Urban based residential development, New Halifax, focusing on context sensitive design, sympathetic in-fill philosophy and pedestrian based lifestyles.  He graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. After college, he spent several years with Hospital Corporation of America in the Real Estate Department developing and leasing medical office buildings nationwide. He resides in Jonesborough with wife and business partner, LaDonna, and son, Jackson.

LaDonna partnered with Black Hawk in 2002 after a fifteen year career in portfolio management, leasing and construction supervision of medical office buildings for Tenet Healthcare Corporation, Hospital Corporation of America, Baptist, and Mountain States Health Alliance in Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi and California. She is currently pursuing her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation with the Institute of Real Estate Management. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Heritage Alliance of Northeast Tennessee & Southwest Virginia, a partner of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Board of Directors for Ashley Academy and Town of Jonesborough Tree and Townscape Committee. She is a licensed affiliate broker, responsible for residential sales and brokerage, New Halifax project management and sales, and is Black Hawk's Senior Property Manager.  Steve, LaDonna and son Jackson reside in Jonesborough.

A native of South Africa, Stephen now resides in Jonesborough with his wife, Dr. Bree Dean. He brings years of management experience, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service, communication and attention to the details of day to day portfolio management, to Black Hawk Property Management.

Brenda joined Black Hawk Property Management in 2009 as Accounting Manager. She brings years of experience in accounting and customer service. Brenda is a graduate of King College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and minor in Accounting. She resides in Fall Branch with her husband, Edward, and two daughters, Trinity and Cassidy.

Troy has worked with Black Hawk Property Management nearly ten years in the capacity of Chief Building Technician. He provides skilled maintenance and construction services to all residential and commercial properties, and is extremely capable in all aspects of maintenance from carpentry to plumbing. Troy is a graduate of King College, where he majored in business administration. He resides in Jonesborough with his son, Ryan, fiancee, Missy, her son, TJ.

Michelle joined Black Hawk Property Management in 2009 as Maintenance Coordinator and Leasing Consultant. Her responsibilities include tenant relations, performing move-in/move-out inspections, vacancy marketing and coordination of all residential and commercial maintenance and repair services. She resides in Jonesborough.
